Sevastopol was able to get tickets to “Artek” and “Smena” above quotas
Sevastopol was able to receive 176 more vouchers this year than were allocated according to quotas in the prestigious Artek and Smena camps. Especially gifted children will go there, said Mikhail Rodikov, director of the Department of Education, at a meeting in the government.

“We have approved quotas for this year and concluded agreements with Artek for 25 vouchers and with Smena for 30 vouchers. In fact, we sent an additional 107 people to Artek alone, and 69 people to Smena,” Rodikov said.
“How did you manage to do this?” asked Deputy Governor of Sevastopol Alexey Eremeev. “The charm of Sevastopol,” replied Rodikov.
In addition, Vice-Governor Alexander Reshetnikov clarified, in June, 3 thousand children had a rest on the summer grounds of additional education institutions, 4 thousand children - in school camps.
