The Leninsky District Court of Sevastopol pronounced a verdict in a criminal case against Denis Zhabotin, born in 1992, who was found guilty of committing murder.

The court found that in December the accused, while in the premises of the country house of the Voskhod gardening partnership, being intoxicated, during an argument that arose, struck the victim multiple blows to the head. The man died from his injuries at the scene.

During the trial of the criminal case, the defendant admitted his guilt in full.

The court, agreeing with the position of the prosecutor who supported the state prosecution, recognized Zhabotin D.V. guilty of committing murder and sentenced him to imprisonment for a term of 6 years 6 months to be served in a maximum security penal colony.
