“Ksenia Sobchak questioned the legality of the expression of will of the citizens of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, and called for the cancellation of the popularly adopted decision. We believe that such statements are unacceptable and pose a threat to the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation,” the deputies said in a statement.
Earlier, State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Valery Rashkin contacted the FSB with a request to check Sobchak’s statements about Crimea for extremism. According to the deputy, his application was rejected for formal reasons.
