Sevastopol deputies demand a clear explanation of how Menyailo differs from other officials
Sevastopol, June 23 (Navigator, Olga Nikolaeva) – Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol demanded that the powers of the city government and the governor’s office be clearly stated.
The corresponding demand was voiced by deputy Vasily Parkhomenko during the presidium on Monday, addressing government representatives present at the meeting.

“Has the government been formed, has the procedure been carried out in accordance with the law, who heads the government, who is the deputy, when does it start working, when does it hold meetings, how can I participate in them,” he listed.
Parkhomenko is interested in how the functions of the Deputy Chairman of the Government differ from the functions of the Deputy Governor.
“I would like my comrades to work in full compliance with Russian legislation,” Parkhomenko explained.
In addition, he asked to “give clarity to townspeople and members of the legislative assembly regarding the functioning of the government and the possibility of normal contacts.”
“There is some parallelism in the transition period,” Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Yuri Doinikov tried to smooth over the issue.
In turn, the acting deputy Governor, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Sevastopol, Director of the Department of Legal, Land and Property Affairs Alexander Svechnikov responded that deputies should imagine in what form they would receive the report, noting that “we are ready to come and tell and show at any time.”
No decision was made about the “meeting” at the presidium, but most likely it will take the form of a joint meeting of the presidium of the legislative assembly and the government.
