New land tax rates will come into effect in 2015. For personal and subsidiary plots, the tax rate is set at 0,025% of the cadastral value of the plot. For plots occupied for housing – 0,01%, for lands for agricultural enterprises, defense and customs facilities – 0,3%. 1,2% – for other users.
Executive and local government bodies, lands used for educational, healthcare, cultural and sports facilities, as well as cemeteries, were exempt from paying the tax.
At the same time, according to the Deputy Governor of Sevastopol Alexei Eremeev, tax rates are set in accordance with last year’s cadastral value of the land. A new assessment will not be carried out until next year.
“The basis will be the monetary valuation of land, which was used last year with certain adjustments. Executive authorities have the right to set the standard value of land,” Eremeev explained.
