The weekly magazine “First Crimean” writes about this, talking about another manifestation of the “special Sevastopol character.”
“Well, didn’t the children of Sevastopol amuse us when at New Year’s parties they cut out snowflakes with the image of... Putin. Representatives of the public organization “Officers’ Daughters” advised them to do this. At the same time, the mass production of “patriotic” snowflakes was explained as follows: “In southern Crimea, snow is a rare occurrence for us, so snowflakes are very relevant in decorations. We decided to diversify and complement the patterns with patriotic themes, which are so common in Sevastopol,” the newspaper says.
Meanwhile, something strange came out of the Sevastopol ladies’ idea:
