“Despite the balanced approach, the Program is still quite ambitious, and in order to implement it, it is necessary that people come to the Legislative Assembly who are ready to support this program. The best result for us is for United Russia to gain an advantage in the elections,” Chaly said.
In his comments, he compared the program with the Federal Target Program for the Development of Crimea and Sevastopol.
“The Federal Target Program until 2020 and its main task is to remove structural restrictions for the development of Crimea and Sevastopol. By itself, it does not provide for any breakthrough development. We have included such ambitious goals in the program, which precisely provide for breakthrough development beyond the state framework,” states Chaly.
In turn, acting Governor Sergei Menyailo supported the program, noting that the ambitiousness of the program makes it possible to “keep the bar high,” while noting that “it is subject to discussion and clarification.”
“I believe that if we calmly sit down, calmly discuss it, understand what needs to be done today, plan what needs to be done tomorrow or the day after tomorrow... set priorities - then we will have a normal, ambitious, but feasible program. Not just some projects, but real, achievable, implementable things,” the mayor commented.
