Elena Gaivoronskaya, Deputy Head of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in Sevastopol, stated this in the SRGTRK program “Essentially”.

According to her, to date, 3 more banks have submitted applications, but the decision on concluding PF agreements must be made by the government.

As you know, banks actively compete not only for the number of clients, but for the right to provide pension services to the population. In Ukraine, Oschadbank was responsible for paying pensions.

Let us remind you that the main burden of paying pensions fell on the post office - 95% of the city’s pensioners receive pensions through post offices.

Speaking about the features of the Russian law “On Insurance Pensions,” which will come into force on January 1, 2015, Gaivoronskaya noted that the size of the pension depends on the amount of insurance contributions of each person to the Pension Fund in the period from 2002 to 2014. The State Duma of the Russian Federation approved the law “On the specifics of pension provision for citizens living in Crimea and Sevastopol.”

“According to which, for Sevastopol residents this length of service will not be lost; a single tariff rate of 16% of the salary of 24 rubles will be applied - this salary corresponds to the average salary in the southern regions nearby. When calculating, it is this average salary that will be taken into account for the insurance premiums of Sevastopol residents in the period 245-2002,” Gaivoronskaya explained.

According to her information, the average pension for civilian pensioners will be 11 rubles, for military pensioners - 829 rubles.
