About it Interfax LLC commercial director Andrei Ivlev said on Friday at a stand located at the Army-2015 military-technical forum.
“Our enterprise, which previously provided the Ukrainian Navy, last year completely completed the transition to the legal field of the Russian shipbuilding industry and is now ready to provide Navy ships with equipment that has recently stopped coming from Ukraine. We are ready to provide the fleet with more than 20 samples of our products, including diesel generators, refrigeration units, compressors and other ship devices,” Ivlev said.
He clarified that the enterprise’s auxiliary equipment can be used on small missile and anti-submarine ships, sea minesweepers and Navy auxiliary vessels. The plant's diesel engines can be installed on boats, tugboats and gas pumping stations as the main power plants.
“Farvater-S,” says Andrey Ivlev, has established mass production of products and is ready to provide its services for its repair and maintenance. However, so far the Ministry of Defense, according to him, has not placed a single order at the enterprise.
