Sevastopol Central Design Bureau "Chernomorets" will re-equip Black Fleet ships
Sevastopol, December 11 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Kononov) – Preliminary agreements have been reached with the structures of the Russian Ministry of Defense and the management of the United Shipbuilding Corporation on the participation of the State Unitary Enterprise Central Design Bureau "Chernomorets" in the development of projects for the re-equipment of Black Sea Fleet ships and the design of auxiliary vessels.

This was stated by the director of the Department of Industry and Agriculture Andrey Torgashev.
“The preparatory work for registering a new state-owned enterprise has already been completed, and the corresponding government resolution has also been prepared,” the official noted.
Central Design Bureau "Chernomorets" was created in 1947 to ensure the repair and modernization of ships and vessels of the Black Sea Fleet. The enterprise archives contain more than 600 thousand items of documentation for various ship equipment and mechanisms, as well as documentation for 150 ship projects. Under Ukraine, the design bureau collaborated with customers from China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Sweden, Bulgaria, Romania and France.
