Sevastopol police officer who shot a homeless man was given ten years
Sevastopol, February 27 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – A court in Sevastopol convicted a former inspector of the patrol service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, found guilty of premeditated murder.

The investigation and the court established that on the night of January 9, 2014, a police officer at the intersection of Primorsky Boulevard and Nakhimov Square in Sevastopol beat a citizen of no fixed abode, and then shot him with his service weapon. The victim died from his injuries at the scene.
By a court verdict, the accused was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 10 years to be served in a maximum security colony.
