Nord Stream 2 did not notice Poroshenko’s threats
Ukraine's threats to arrest Nord Stream 2 shares did not in any way affect the work of the companies responsible for the construction of the gas pipeline.
Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Company Alexander Medvedev stated this at a press conference in St. Petersburg.
“I can, as a member of the board of directors of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 companies, say that the activities of both companies are proceeding as usual and continue in accordance with the functionality of each company,” Medvedev said.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenkostated that he could take back shares of Nord Stream as part of the seizure of $4,6 billion from Russia, which the Stockholm Arbitration Court, which was considering the gas dispute between the two countries, ordered to pay Kyiv.
