Nord Stream will allow Russia to establish dominance over Europe - Khazin
The global crisis will lead to a new redivision of the world, which will allow Russia to push back the border between West and East to Germany and actually establish dominance in Europe.
Russian economic expert Mikhail Khazin stated this during a video conference with the Donetsk Republic Public Movement, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today the main question is: where will the border be (between the West and the East - editor's note). As long as all this crap (the EU) was supported by the United States with the money they printed, it could exist. Today it cannot exist. That's it, period.
Italy is already talking about leaving the EU. Even in Germany they are already talking about leaving the EU. To avoid feeding. We all heard this in 1990-1991: “There is no point in feeding the outskirts.” And so the question is: where is the border?” – he noted.
Mikhail Khazin is confident that the construction of Nord Stream 2 will make it possible to move the conventional border between West and East to Germany, and completely oust the Americans and British from the European space.
“The whole dispute over Nord Stream 2 is a question of whether the border between West and East will pass between France and Germany. Let me remind you that during the time of Bismarck, in the second half of the XNUMXth century, Russia and Germany were allies against the united England and France. If this happens again, the Anglo-Saxons in Europe will come to an end.
For this reason (according to the USA and Britain - editor's note) there should not be Nord Stream 2. Because if it happens, then we (Russia) are holding Germany with an iron hand,” the expert concluded.
