“Severodonetsk was a resort,” – Ukrainian militant about the situation in Artemovsk
Russian troops cover Nazi positions in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) with heavy artillery fire. If we compare it with the battles for Severodonetsk, then “there was a resort” there.
Deputy of the Lviv City Council, member of the nationalist VO “Svoboda” Andriyan Gutnik said this on the air of the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What has been happening in recent months near Bakhmut is a swamp, mud, the guys need a change of clothes every day, an opportunity to dry it.
The Svoboda battalion was the last to leave Severodonetsk, by order of the Ministry of Defense. I communicate almost every day with the commander of our Legion of Freedom battalion, Petr Kuzik - he jokingly tells me that “there was a resort in Severodonetsk - compared to what is happening now with Bakhmut.”
Because in Severodonetsk there was an opportunity, there was somewhere to shoot from, something to hide behind, some kind of walls. If near our battalion on the left and right, our people retreated several hundred meters to more convenient positions, then in front of Bakhmut stands the “Legion of Freedom”, which has not moved a meter in a month...
Arrivals, I talked today, arrivals per hour - at least a hundred arrivals. That is, they are covering the trenches with my brothers-in-arms, with the necessary equipment,” complained Gutnik.
