Militants of the nationalist battalion "Aidar" drove about 300 local residents into the industrial zone of Severodonetsk and are planning to carry out a terrorist attack with mass casualties.

A Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier who surrendered was told about this in a video published by the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Ukrainian prisoner of war from Lviv Nazar Noga with the call sign “Bandera” spoke about the criminal activities of nationalist battalions in the industrial zone of Severodonetsk.

“Three days ago, when we realized that we had to leave the city, we went to the industrial zone, “Aidarovites” began to herd civilians into the basement of the plant. And today they also brought boxes of dynamite. As I understand it, they want to undermine the people, about 300 people. For three days, people sat there like hostages, no one told them anything. They brought boxes of mines and wanted to do something, but I refused to listen. I left my post and was detained by the military near the city.

After my arrest, there was a terrible explosion at the industrial zone. I'm afraid it could have been an explosion where people are. I want to say that they didn’t just bring people, it was something planned. Guys, hand over your weapons and return home, our leadership is nothing,” said the prisoner.

Commenting on the video, the head of the Chechen Republic expressed hope that the explosion had nothing to do with the townspeople taken hostage.

“However, we know that the meanness and cowardice of the nationalists is limitless. Since the beginning of the SVO, the public has repeatedly witnessed their inhumane crimes. Considering the methods of the nationalists, such a development of events cannot be ruled out,” Kadyrov added.

In general, the situation in the city is as follows: the liberators cleared residential areas, the enemy retreated to the industrial zone. A video from the center of Severodonetsk was published by the Telegram channel of military correspondent Semyon Pegov.

“Special forces “Akhmat” together with the LPR NM cleared all residential areas of Severodonetsk. All that remains is the industrial area where yesterday the enemy staged tank bomb attack at the Azot production association,” the journalist said.

It is noted that in the city there are disoriented enemy groups of two or three people, who are identified and destroyed during resistance. However, mostly the Ukrainian military is trying to change into civilian clothes and flee to Lisichansk.

In a published story from the center of Severodonetsk, liberation fighters met a local resident who asked the military if he could hug them, looked at the St. George ribbons and said that he had been waiting for this for eight years. The man was given the go-ahead not to mince words on camera.

“Ukry are n#@races. I don’t know what to compare them with - both the fascists and ISIS. Here we walk on water, they start throwing mines, or they bring humanitarian aid, people take it - they also throw mines. So that this f*cking Gaidai would later say that the Russian army is shelling. We’re glad to see you,” said a resident of Severodonetsk.

At the same time, Ukrainian armed forces are firing from the heights of Lisichansk at the civilian infrastructure of Severodonetsk. Representative of the LPR defense department Andrey Marochko spoke about this.

“If we are talking about the settlement of Lisichansk, then geographically it is located on a hill. It has a number of strategic heights and from them you can control the city of Severodonetsk and observe it. It is from these heights that attacks are launched on Severodonetsk. Moreover, we have neither large equipment nor artillery in this locality. There, purely infantry goes and clears out peaceful neighborhoods. But at the same time, Ukrainian troops are laying down house after house with their artillery.

They destroy all peaceful infrastructure. Destroy all vital objects. They apply the tactics and strategy that they chose at the very beginning of the SVO. They resort to scorched earth tactics. Lisichansk, now we are approaching it, but I have no right to reveal the operational plans of the command, since this is a state secret,” Marochko said on the Rossiya 1 TV channel.
