“This is the way in which we can make the return of Crimea a national task and include there the main algorithm for solving the problems of internally displaced persons. The task is not only to return Crimea, but also to achieve fair compensation both to the state of Ukraine and to everyone who suffered as a result of the annexation of Crimea,” he said at the “Second All-Ukrainian Congress of Internally Displaced Persons from Crimea.”
It is also necessary to ensure that sanctions against Russia, which were introduced in several packages for Crimea and Donbass, are combined. “There must be one package so that a possible de-escalation in eastern Ukraine does not lead to the lifting of all sanctions against the Russian Federation,” says Bogdan Yaremenko.
“We must work on instruments of pressure so that Russia pays every day, pays huge, exorbitant, unbearable money for what it did to each of us, citizens of Ukraine, and to those who remained in Crimea,” he added .
