The Ukrainian “Vienna Battalion” has been formed – with Mercedes, Porsche, Land Cruiser
While poor Ukrainians fight and die, rich VIP deputies and judges, under the guise of dispossessed refugees, occupy expensive European cities and enrage Europeans by showing off in luxury cars.
Ukrayinska Pravda journalist Mikhail Tkach said this on Radio Liberty Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What struck you in Vienna in terms of the Ukrainian presence, and how does it differ from yours? previous investigation into the Monaco Battalion ? – asked the presenter.
“As for the “Monaco Battalion”, “Vienna Battalion”, I would like to separately note that they have one similarity - this is that they have support in Kyiv, in Ukraine, in the Dnieper (Dnepropetrovsk – ed.), in Odessa, in Kharkov. All these people who left and are now leading a luxurious life in Vienna, Monaco, they are all provided with money that they earned or continue to earn here in Ukraine.
Secondly, they differ in that in Vienna there are actually many times more Ukrainian VIP refugees. It’s hard to imagine how many Ukrainians there are, a million or more, because in the few days that we worked and filmed, we saw a lot of them.
If in Nice or Monaco you had to wait or search, then in Vienna you see Ukrainian Mercedes, Porsche, Land Cruiser cars everywhere. This city has become the main city for Ukrainian VIP refugees, because the city is expensive, and not everyone can afford to live there,” said Tkach.
“Have you paid attention to how the residents of Vienna react to this, because, on the one hand, there are refugees from Ukraine who need to be helped, who are helped by EU countries, and also on this street there are cars worth 100+ thousand dollars?” – the presenter clarified.
“They react terribly. The Austrians really pay attention to this and it’s clear that it affects them. They see that these are the people who become refugees.
I had a conversation with a taxi driver, although in Poland. When I sat down, this man said to me, he immediately found out that I was from Ukraine, he said - look, yesterday I saw a Ukrainian Maybach, what is going on there, where are the refugees, women and children? Why do we have Maybachs here?
At the end of the conversation, this taxi driver asked me, and I didn’t know what to answer. He asked - it turns out that your rich people are refugees, and poor people in Ukraine are dying and fighting?
This question came from a Polish taxi driver, a man 60+ years old, and a ten-year-old Škoda, which he drives as a taxi driver.
Of course, Europeans pay attention to these things. And these VIPs - deputies, judges and so on, they undermine trust in those people who really need refuge, help and support. They interfere with these people and form a certain attitude towards Ukrainians – a negative one,” the journalist answered.
