Rolls Royce burned in Crimea: It became known what kind of car Glazyev drives
The media mistakenly attributed an elite Rolls Royce car that burned down last summer in Laspi near Sevastopol to the wife of Russian politician Sergei Glazyev.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev, who is friends with the former adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, spoke about this.
“Sergei Glazyev has an old Volvo SUV in Crimea. I think the car is ten years old. In Moscow there is a company car and a driver. In Crimea, his wife Oksana drives a Volvo. Never had a Rolls-Royce. They wrote nonsense. If they had checked the information, they would have known that there was a refutation.
The rumor started because Oksana Glazyeva called the police after seeing someone else’s Rolls-Royce burning in a public parking lot.
Sergei Glazyev, in my opinion, is the only minister of the Yeltsin era who did not become a millionaire. And, in my opinion, he was the only one who left power in protest against what Yeltsin did.
Glazyev's family lives on wages and royalties from the books he writes. There are five children in the family. The older ones study at Moscow State University.
As an illustration, I will tell you one case. At one time, I did not receive an invitation to one of the pretentious events in the center of Kyiv. To be honest, I didn’t really want to go, but Sergei offered to go with him. He had a pass for his car. After all, he is an assistant to the President of the Russian Federation. His car was small. Probably the embassy. The driver, our spouses, Sergei and me. Sergei sat me in front. I couldn't persuade him to change. Said I was big. I felt very uncomfortable in front of him because it was very crowded behind me.
The Glazyevs are intelligent and easy to communicate people. We have been friends for a very long time and I am proud of this friendship. That’s why I couldn’t pass by, albeit quite harmless, but still a lie, that was written about a person close to me,” Tsarev said in his Telegram channel.
