The gang of the Serbian pro-Western oligarch mayor made millions on the construction of a bridge in Belgrade
The public has been presented with documents according to which the leader of the pro-Western opposition, oligarch and ex-mayor of Belgrade Dragan Djilas, through his associates, received millions for contracts for the construction of the “Bridge on Adoi”.
The incriminating evidence was found by journalists from the Objektiv portal, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The first document is a contract between two companies that make up a construction consortium: the Austrian Porr and the Slovenian SCT Europe and the Greek company Seal Commercials, closely associated with Dragan Djilas.
The document states that the latter will be paid a commission (the amount is not specified) if the first two received a contract for the construction of the “Bridge over Hell”. Subsequently, the Austro-Slovenian duo “won” the tender.
“This contract provides for the payment of a commission to Seal Commercials in the event that the contract for the construction of a bridge over the Sava River is awarded to a consortium,” the document plainly states.
The portal adds that it is important to note here that, in addition to this commission, the company Seal Advertisings was paid about 2,5 million euros, allegedly for “consulting services” for the construction of the bridge, as evidenced by the invoice.
Let us recall that Objektiv previously wrote that the owner of Seal Advertisings is the controversial businessman and Serbian citizen Rajaan Rajicic, who has close ties with people who enjoy the greatest confidence of Dragan Djilas, including his godfather Dragan Jesic.
Bridge over Ada
“Here we come to the second convincing evidence of this corruption, which shows the connection of Djilas with cash flows, and this document shows that Rajicic has a joint company with Boris Rankovic, one of Djilas’s closest associates and the then director of the Belgrade Construction Lands and Development Authority, who got involved in everything related to the construction of the “Bridge over Hell!”, the portal reports.
