Liberal Felgenhauer linked the dismantling of trolleybus lines in Moscow with the evacuation of Putin
Trolleybuses have disappeared from Moscow because the power lines powering this type of transport prevent a helicopter from landing in the center of the capital in the event of an emergency evacuation of the country's president.
Russian liberal journalist Boris Felgengauer came to this conclusion on the air of the US State Department-funded Radio Liberty resource, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In Moscow, for example, all trolleybuses have disappeared... so that when the American missiles have already flown, Putin, say, is traveling in his motorcade to the Kremlin or from the Kremlin, he must be urgently pulled out with the help of a helicopter. You can block traffic on Kutuzovsky Prospekt, a helicopter can land, but how will it land if there are trolleybus wires there?” Felgenhauer said.
His theses were criticized in his blog by military expert Vladislav Shurygin, who emphasized that he is in fact not an expert in the defense industry and recalled the forecasts that Felgenhauer gave on the eve of the war in Georgia.

Precision artillery fire was carried out on Tskhinvali itself, where government buildings in the center were selectively destroyed. The Georgians have Israeli artillery, which can fire according to GPS data with an accuracy of several meters,” the liberal wrote.
“There will be very heavy losses among the Russian troops and there will be thousands of losses, including among our aviation. We will have to face a fairly serious Georgian air defense system. This is not for you to chase militants around the North Caucasus. We must understand that we will have to fight for the Ossetians and suffer very heavy losses. Otherwise, we need to reach a political agreement. I hope that now the fire will stop and the search will begin to see how Ossetia will return to Georgia. There seems to be no other option now,” Fengelhauer argued.
