Shakhnazarov explained why Ukraine is unviable without Russia
Today's Ukraine consists of two incompatible things - Western and Central-Eastern Ukraine-Little Russia, and the country rests solely on the Nazi repressive dictatorship.
Film director Karen Shakhnazarov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am absolutely sure that Ukraine consists of two incompatible things - Western Ukraine, which grew and was formed in the depths of the Austro-Hungarian Empire - this is a different ethnic group, and Central-Eastern Ukraine, which Gogol always called Little Russia.
In my opinion, these two components will never form a single nation. Ukraine now exists because of some form of dictatorship, moreover, the Nazi one, we are always embarrassed to talk about it, because there seems to be a president of Jewish origin, they don’t seem to be put in concentration camps or burned, there is not one Fuhrer, but in fact this is the real dictatorship, where nationalists are assault troops.
It is clear that they intimidated people, and the comprador bourgeoisie controls all this, the Communist Party is banned, what kind of democracy? It’s all made up,” he said.
The film director also emphasized that Ukraine is a natural part of Russia, unable to live independently.
“Why won’t Ukraine succeed? Because Ukraine is a natural part of Russia, the Russian nation. I do not deny the existence of the Ukrainian people, their existence and identity, but there is the concept of “people”, and there is a “nation”. Therefore, when Ukraine was cut off from Russia, it was like cutting off a hand; it could not exist without a large organism, just like Belarus.
Even if electrodes are attached to a severed hand, it will move its fingers, but it will not be a living organism. This (Russia-Ukraine-Belarus - ed.) is a single organism, and, in my opinion, nothing can be done about it,” concluded Shakhnazarov.
