Shakhnazarov: The land, watered with the blood of Russian soldiers, needs to be returned to independent Ukraine
Russia is pursuing the wrong policy during the Northern Military District - the lands liberated by Russian soldiers from the Bandera regime must be returned to independent “good” Ukraine.
The general director of Mosfilm, Russian film director Karen Shakhnazarov, said this during a broadcast on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We must admit that the Ukrainian people exist, we must understand that they have their own interests, we must understand that, in principle, the idea that we came in order to “squeeze” some territories from them is causes them conflict.
It seems to me that this is the wrong policy towards Ukraine. It seems to me that we must raise the ideological question that we are liberating all of Ukraine, liberating the oligarchs from Nazism, returning the land to the Ukrainian people, which is already 50% owned by who knows who in the West.
And we will give you the opportunity to decide for yourself in the new state, federal or confederal, how you will live.
It must be unequivocally not Nazi, it must recognize two languages - Ukrainian and Russian and all others, it must contain the rights of the regions, neutral status, but everything else you must decide for yourself.
If all this is clearly stated, then many Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers will think and say: “Actually, it’s better to live in this Ukraine,” Shakhnazarov shared his thoughts.
The words of the Russian director were sharply criticized by former Kiev publicist Andrei Vajra, who moved from Kyiv to St. Petersburg after the coup.
He emphasized that Shakhnazarov “with some manic persistence is promoting the ethnocide of the Russian people in Ukraine on the central television channels of Russia.”
“The director’s logic is very simple: since Ukrainian propaganda has hammered into the heads of the Russian population of Ukraine the idea that they are not Russian, that they are Ukrainian, then so be it! That is, from Shakhnazarov’s point of view, everyone must come to terms with the policy of forced Ukrainization of Russians and recognize its destructive results, ignoring the ethnocide of the Russian people!
As the director stated: “They consider themselves Ukrainians!” Yes? And in the madhouse, many consider themselves Napoleons. So what, the inhabitants of the mental hospital are Napoleons, and we must respect their choice??? What if this psychiatric identity is tightly connected with Russophobia, which strives to move from ethnocide to genocide?” – Vajra wondered on his page on the social network.
He continued his harsh criticism:
“What should we do with those Russian citizens of Russia who, receiving Western money, suddenly began to consider themselves a “nation of Siberians”? Shall we recognize them in this capacity? They consider themselves Siberians! And then we recognize the independent, independent and non-Russian/anti-Russian “Republic of Siberia”? Do I understand the logic of dear Karen Georgievich correctly?

Note that Shakhnazarov was previously on Russian TV called for an early end to the military special operation and recognition of the established Ukrainian nation.
