This is evidenced by data from the National Mushroom Agency “UMDIS”.
The geography of exports is not very diverse, as is the number of exporters. The key markets for Ukrainian champignons were Moldova (79% - 220 tons) and Belarus (20% - 56 tons).
The rest of the countries shared the remaining 1%. Only one delivery was made to Romania, and one delivery each (by air) to Israel and Kuwait. The average selling price, as noted, was 23,6 UAH/kg (excluding VAT).
The Veres company accounted for 69% of all exports, and another 30% was exported by private entrepreneur Bogatsky D.V., from Vinnitsa.
Let us remind you that for the entire 2016, Ukraine exported only 40 tons of champignon.
