The chance of Ukraine reaching an agreement has been pushed back in time
The Ukrainian government is completely unable to negotiate, and therefore even the Western curators of Ukraine are forced to suspend their work with Kiev until the election results.
Former Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anatoly Gritsenko stated this on the NewsOne channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Volker’s preliminary conclusion and mine are the same, I will talk to him again. The issue of a peaceful settlement will be postponed until after the presidential elections. Because it is impossible to agree on anything with this government. She says one thing and does another,” Gritsenko said.
“There is Russia’s position, which sometimes warms up, and then again it goes cold, “weapons in the supermarket,” “civil war” and “putsch in Kiev,” but they will look for solutions when we become strong. The chance of our reaching an agreement has already been postponed until after the elections,” the former defense minister added.
As PolitNavigator reported, the former head of the Main Directorate of the SBU, Vasily Vovk, expressed concern that the American representative Kurt Volker could start jointly with Russia force Kyiv to engage in direct negotiations with the Donbass republics.
