There is little chance of extending the law “On the special status” of Donbass - Poroshenko’s patrons do not need peace
The regime of Petro Poroshenko will most likely disrupt the extension of the law “On the Special Status” of Donbass, which expires in October. The American patrons of Kyiv are interested in continuing the conflict, and not in implementing the Minsk agreements.
Russian publicist Nikolai Starikov told PolitNavigator about this, noting that the law previously adopted by the Verkhovna Rada never came into force, but remained only on paper.

“The owners of today's Ukraine, namely the Americans, need war. This situation suits everyone: endless conversations, continuation of the crisis, loss of life, a bloody wound in the Donbass, no one is responsible for anything, and there is always a beautiful explanation... “War will write off everything” - there is such an expression and its visual bloody implementation is before us,” - said the writer.
