Shariy made a mistake, but will receive a million dollars
“Sharia’s Party” would have been able to qualify for entry into the Verkhovna Rada if it had announced its participation in the elections a few months earlier.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said this on the YouTube channel “TopInform”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“The “Party of Sharia” is interesting here, an interesting project, if they had started earlier, after the New Year, they would now be in the place of “Voices”. I think they would fit into the place of “The Voice”. But there wasn’t enough time,” the expert believes.
“The Sharia Party” is “the germ of another interesting project in this political segment,” Bortnik believes.
“I think now they will have to fight for the two percent barrier. Let me remind you that 2% in Ukraine provides government funding - this is about a million dollars a year, on average, this is a lot of money, with this money you can, at the very least, support key party structures,” the expert noted.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Kyiv they stated that “Sharia’s Party” receives funding from Kharkov ex-regional leader Vladimir Katsuba.
