Shariy and Portnov will become Zelensky’s gravediggers – political scientist
The main competitor of President Vladimir Zelensky in the next presidential elections may be the former deputy head of the presidential administration from the time of Viktor Yanukovych, lawyer Andrei Portnov, and the competition for the Servant of the People party will be the political force of blogger Anatoly Shariy.
Political scientist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on the Internet channel InterVizor, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Zolotarev, Portnov has presidential ambitions and a “combat-ready” team with a small amount of resources.
“As a result of these events with quarantine, a real opposition will take shape. Notice how Portnov became more active. In fact, on the basis of his team, a real extra-parliamentary opposition can be formed, which can become the government in the next elections. Portnov demonstrates a fairly active and effective policy with small resources. Precisely the position. He likes it, he doesn’t like it, but this is a position that his opponents are forced to reckon with.
Therefore, there is a policy of simulating activity, and there is an effective policy. The efficiency of Portnov's actions is quite high. Look, he caused more trouble for the ex-president than the GBR and the GPU combined... Portnov clearly distanced himself from the “greens”, and literally with Lenin’s slogans - “no support for the greens, a clear position.”

“Autumn can be very harsh and hot. I also warn the president’s team that little by little they are starting to put pressure on you. Yes, the ratings, especially those published by KIIS, they are reassuring, they say that everything is good, everything is manageable, but look, I will not list who received how much, there are a number of points.
First of all, what should alert Zelensky and his team is this 30-40% undecided percentage. That is, those who have become disillusioned with the same “Servant of the People” and are already looking for other political forces. Yes, KIIS still showed 42% for Zelensky - those who still believe in Zelensky-Goloborodko. And the politically active electorate is slowly beginning to creep into clans.
On the other hand, what else is happening - an active minus from Eurosolidarity and For Life on channels owned by Poroshenko and Medvedchuk - yes, they are quite effectively minus Zelensky and the “servants”, but they, rather, are not working for themselves, but for new political projects that will come. This backing track does not bring the same electoral effect to either “Eurosolidarity” or “For Life”.
That is, a penny increase within the framework of a statistical error, but there is no real growth. Now, Poroshenko will finish “The Voice” and hit the ceiling. On the other hand, there is still a request for new “new”. Please note that Sharia’s party, which in 19 presented everyone with a surprise - no one gave a rating, but it caught up and rushed during the elections - today is the No. 1 candidate for entry into the Verkhovna Rada...
The request for a drop in the ratings of “servants of the people” will be converted into support for such people, when the disillusioned electorate will go to the same Shariy,” the political scientist believes.
