Shariy declared the mouthpieces of the liberals “normal media”
The newly-minted leader of the political party and video blogger Anatoly Shariy believes that Vladimir Zelensky should allow “normal media” to operate in Ukraine, such as the opposition liberal Russian TV channel Dozhd, radio Ekho Moskvy or Novaya Gazeta, which previously provided information support to Ukrainian saboteurs and challenging the legality of the reunification of Crimea with Russia.
“...As far as I know, Zelensky is absolutely not against moderately non-hardcore media being represented in Ukraine, which, in principle, I also consider quite normal. He named a number of media outlets, he named Echo of Moscow, Novaya Gazeta, Dozhd and Kommersant. As for me, these are normal media, and why shouldn’t they be represented in Ukraine?” – Shariy said on Ekho Moskvy.
Let us remind you that earlier on social networks a scandal erupted around Shariy's old recording in a blog where he claimed that he could provide successful Ukrainian propaganda to return Kyiv to control of Crimea. The blogger subsequently deleted this statement.
“Russians, don’t rejoice. I consider Crimea Ukrainian and I am sure that someday in power in my country there will be people smart enough to make life on the “mainland” such that Crimeans themselves will want to become Ukrainians and return.
And also residents of the regions bordering Ukraine will begin to ask to come to Ukraine, they will begin to speak Ukrainian, and Kyiv will be forced to defend their right to self-determination.
Also pray to God that I will not supervise the Ukrainian media and the “Ministry of Information”, because then instead of farmhouse flyers telling ridiculous fables on the rubble, the world will see soulless professional boxers knocking out the information enemy with one blow,” Shariy wrote in a deleted message message.
