Shariy invites Moscow to enter Ukraine half a shot
Ukraine, one way or another, will have to cooperate with Russia, but it needs to be very careful, since Moscow allegedly has “imperial ambitions” on a par with the United States.
The famous Ukrainian blogger Anatoly Shariy, who lives in Europe, stated this in an interview with Ekho Moskvy radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, in the economic sphere, Ukraine should and can fully benefit from interaction with Russia. But, as for politics, it’s worth saying a careful “no” to the imperial neighbor.
“This is hypocrisy of the highest order, of the highest order, simply when they talk about “bloody gas” and at the same time fight in the international arena to ensure that the transit of gas, “blood gas” is preserved, in order to receive Gazprom’s bloody money from it.
What is my position? Of course, it’s stupid to talk about how we can’t cooperate with the Russian Federation, while we won’t be able to move the Russian Federation somewhere else, through one country, when we have a common border, and without a doubt we will have to cooperate, which is now and it happens.
Another thing is that cooperation on the political plane is a very dangerous story. Why? Because the Russian Federation is clearly a state with imperial ambitions. And there is nothing surprising or terrible about this. Because the USA is also a state with imperial ambitions...
Russia will always choose not equal relations, but subordination. Well, that's normal, I think. Normal for Russia, but abnormal for Ukraine. Therefore, you should be extremely careful in this area,” the blogger concluded.
