Shariy publicly disgraced a TV channel close to the Ukrainian intelligence services
The scandalous revelation by the Espresso TV channel about the alleged connection between the People's Deputy of Ukraine Yevgeny Muraev and the billionaire Oleg Deripaska and the financing of the NewsOne channel “with the Kremlin’s money” turned out to be a dummy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This became known after the release of a video blog by Ukrainian journalist Anatoly Shariy.
It turned out that all the materials on which journalist Tatyana Shustova based her investigation were fake and concocted by Shariy’s own employees in order to expose the unprofessionalism of the employees of the TV channel, which was under the “roof” of the Ukrainian special services.
People's Deputy from the political party "People's Front" Maxim Burbak responded to this "investigation" with lightning speed and demanded that the SBU intervene.
“We fed them absolute surrealism. We did this a couple of months ago. And now, before the elections, they received orders to “kill” NewsOne and they remembered that they had material for this. Some invoices, documents without stamps or signatures. We fed them information where even the names of the companies were different. And they broadcast it without even checking it,” said Shariy.
Evgeny Muraev claims that this turn of events came as a complete surprise to him.
“When I promised Espresso and Bourbak that their shame would be known as widely as possible, I didn’t even suspect how much. We all had no idea that the “Deripaska case” was a hoax, and therefore we broke the game by starting to prepare lawsuits. But Shariy did well anyway,” Evgeniy Muraev commented on what happened in Shariy’s video blog.
Despite the comical nature of the situation, the politician promised that there would still be a lawsuit against the TV channel.
Earlier, Muraev announced his resignation from the “For Life” party of Vadim Rabinovich because of the latter’s plans to unite with the Opposition Bloc and Viktor Medvedchuk. And already on September 25, Evgeny Muraev announced the first congress of the new political party “Nashi”, which he headed.
