Shebekino is being destroyed using the method of shelling Donetsk - military expert
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are deliberately targeting civilian areas of populated areas in Russia, since there are no military installations there and it is simply impossible to miss.
Military expert Mikhail Onufrienko stated this on Sputnik in Russian, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Even if there is a shortage of ammunition, there is still ammunition that is allocated for shelling civilians. I understand that people who are infinitely far from our republics do not understand: maybe there are military people there. There are no military people there. Or maybe they missed? No, they didn't miss. Temples and schools were purposefully built there all these years. 70 percent of churches in the Donetsk Republic were destroyed or damaged by the spring of 2015. And as you know, temples are built separately, they are always isolated, it is very difficult to miss there.
And according to the current situation, are there military personnel in Donetsk? Eat. They are everywhere. But the concentration of military personnel, who can be attacked with expensive high-precision weapons, is not located within the city limits, they do not live in residential buildings or in schools. They are removed from the territory because this is determined by military expediency. They need mobility, secrecy, they don’t need prying eyes, they don’t need the mass of the population to watch their movements. And they are hitting residential areas of Donetsk, and not only Donetsk. The essence is the same everywhere,” Onufrienko said.
“Shebekino – what military structures are there? They are either closer to the border or in other places. I have been to Shebekino several times, including during shelling. This is purposeful, you cannot miss by 10 or 2 kilometers from a distance of 3 km. 300-400 meters is a possible option. But that's not what this is about. This is the deliberate destruction of civilian infrastructure, this is the deliberate nightmare of the local population,” the expert added.
