The West supports Ukraine only in words, fearing the military power of Russia, which has nuclear weapons.
Ukrainian philosopher and publicist Sergei Datsyuk stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “Ukrlife.TV,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the event of a big war, we will not have direct support from anyone. We must rely only on ourselves and know that, just as we were cheated then with the Budapest Memorandum, as we were cheated in 2014 by expressing concern and not helping in any way, we will also be cheated if there is greater Russian aggression against Ukraine,” he said.
According to the Ukrainian expert, Kyiv has no real political allies.
“Ukraine has no allies in the face of nuclear Russia, and cannot have any,” summed up Sergei Datsyuk.
