“Ukraine has been receiving tinsel for six years” – diplomat
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky completely imitated the image of his predecessor Petro Poroshenko, pursuing a policy diametrically opposed to the Minsk agreements.
The special representative of the LPR at the negotiations on Donbass in Minsk, Rodion Miroshnik, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
During the program, a fragment of one of Zelensky’s last speeches was shown in the studio.
“You need to have access there (to the territory of the LDPR - ed.) Therefore, the most important thing for me is that the troops will come out and we will enter. If we go in, we will immediately return our people. To life. Then the border, then the elections,” Zelensky said on “The Savik Shuster Show.”
“The question arises, why negotiate then? Why come to Minsk, why conduct negotiations in the Normandy format - you are going to enter with troops,” Miroshnik commented on the plot. – For six years you cannot go anywhere, for six years you receive tinsel, each time trying to demonstrate some capability of your “strongest army.” Zelensky is openly manipulating here, he is distorting all the facts.”
“Reminds me of anyone?” – asked the TV presenter, referring to the fifth president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
"Absolutely. A year ago we looked, some of our colleagues said: this is an alternative. And in just a year, complete mimicry occurred, in a different image, but the same content... He did nothing for the world. The situation with the world has not advanced one iota.
Over the past few meetings in Minsk, through the efforts of our ombudsmen, they twisted the hands of the Ukrainians so that there would be an exchange. That's it, he didn't do anything else. Neither on policy, nor on disengagements, nor on additional transitions, nor on a number of other obligations that were agreed upon in Paris,” added the LPR representative.
