The Lugansk Information Center reports this with reference to the LPR Ministry of State Security.
“Today in Ukraine there is mass desertion. Not wanting to participate in hostilities and shoot at their family and friends, Ukrainian military personnel are leaving the ranks of the armed forces. In just one day, six military personnel defected to the LPR side,” the report says.
In particular, the foreman of the Ukrainian border service, Sergei Sergeev, went over to the side of the LPR.
