According to the priest, the canonical UOC has 20 million parishioners, and the fight against it is a fight against them too.

“There are deeper processes going on here. They occur both at the political level and at the mystical level, regarding the destruction of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

What awaits Ukraine? Nothing is waiting. There will be no Ukraine.

What is the Orthodox, Ukrainian Church? This is the core of the Ukrainian people, this is the heart of the Ukrainian people, these are the spiritual evangelical guidelines with which the leaders of the Church lead the 20 million people.

At least 20 million people living in Ukraine consider themselves to belong to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. These are many monasteries, these are two Lavras, these are shrines of global scale, these are unique monuments of culture, history, architecture, spiritual monuments that are located on the territory of Ukraine, and which are monuments and shrines for all of Orthodoxy...

Today we must imitate these confessors of the Church of Christ, whom we see in Ukraine, this little girl who offers the troparion to the Resurrection of Christ today, without fear of these rabid pagans and Satanists who stand in front of her. She greets them: “Christ is Risen,” and in response: “Ukraine has not yet died.”

And this thought mystically creeps into my mind - is she not dead yet? She will probably die, since the Ukrainian people, part of the Ukrainian people, do not wish her well, since part of the Ukrainian people do not wish her prosperity,” said Father Sergius.
