The Nobel Peace Prize was crushed and degraded to such an extent that the West could not find a better candidate than the imprisoned Alexei Navalny.
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky said this on air on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The West has equated Navalny with Solzhenitsyn and Sakharov, they need significant figures. Solzhenitsyn is a great writer, Sakharov is a great academician, physicist and creator of the hydrogen bomb, and Navalny is a scumbag - he made noise and shouted. But they have no others.
They don't have de Gaulle in France. Macron is a puppy compared to de Gaulle. They don't have Roosevelt, but this old man Biden. There is no Thatcher, instead shaggy-haired Johnson rides a bicycle around London. Everything was crushed! That’s why Navalny is good for them,” Zhirinovsky said.
In his opinion, the West has long been looking for a loyal opposition leader in Russia.
“They started with Yavlinsky; in 1990, Primakov took him to a viewing party for Yavlinsky, and they looked: “Yes, it will do, it’s good.” He was supervised for about 10 years, but he ranks poorly in the presidential elections, barely in the Duma elections. Ryzhkov Volodya - they try and try, but Volodya, a cunning boy from Altai, understands that this is the end for him. Then who? Borya Nemtsov is real, he did everything. They are betting on Borya; Yeltsin had him as the first replacement as a successor.

Zhirinovsky is confident that Navalny has a chance to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, since this is being done to put pressure on Russia.
“Greta Thunberg is still a child and the topic is sensitive, the topic is against the organizers of the Nobel Peace Prize themselves, the topic is to stop the industry of the entire planet, this is impossible. Tikhanovskaya is weak. Black Lives Matter is a semi-racial issue, it is a collective organization, who should give it to? It is beneficial for them to identify a person.
Navalny looks better to stab: “How is it that a Nobel Peace Prize laureate is sitting in prison? Release! What are you doing!". The Assembly of Europe will be noisy, NATO will be noisy, Biden hasn’t spent 10 days in the White House, and in some tone he’s already saying: “Let go! And immediately!
