SBU code: Aidar militants are stealing weapons
The militants of the Aidar battalion did not register the weapons received at the warehouses of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, but placed them in their warehouses for the purpose of their subsequent sale.
This is evidenced by a declassified ciphergram made public Ukrainian secret service cryptographer Lieutenant Colonel Roman Labusov, who defected to the DPR side, published on the website http://sbu-inside.su.
The document is addressed to the Head of the 3rd Department of the 5th Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Military Commissariat of the DKR Security Council of Ukraine, Lieutenant Colonel Lyulko.

The report states that the militants of the Aidar battalion are supplying weapons received from the warehouses of the Ministry of Defense, as well as weapons captured in battle, to central Ukraine. Moreover, the document includes the former commander of “Aidar”, and now a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Sergei Melnichuk.
“So, the platoon commander of the logistics company of military unit B-2950, junior lieutenant Viktor Khakimzyanov (call sign “Rambo”) did not put a significant amount of small arms and ammunition on the balance sheet of the military unit.
The specified weapons were partially received from the warehouses of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry (possibly already written off), and partially were received during hostilities. Until recently, “Rambo” was under the influence of the former commander of the “Aidar” battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Sergei Melnichuk, and may have received commands regarding the said weapon directly from him,” the report says.
