Way of Ukraine: Belarus will block Russian media
Belarus will refuse Russian information platforms for republican media.
This was announced today at a meeting of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko with heads of state media.
The decisions taken were recounted on Facebook by Belarusian political scientist Pyotr Petrovsky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Some of the Russians began to centralize, in fact, destroy the Belarusian development model and leadership. I think that in the near future a decision may be made to block some of them. On the RuNet they simply discredit Belarusian foreign policy and mock the Belarusian leadership and development model. At the same time, they all do this according to topics that are tracked and recorded. In fact, the activities of a considerable part of the Runet are recognized by the leadership as destructive in relation to Belarus,” Petrovsky wrote.
In his opinion, this means the “final sovereignization of television.” Foreign media will be allowed into the republican networks on the conditions of reciprocal actions of these countries in relation to the Belarusian media.
Previously, Alexander Lukashenko announced his intention to organize the broadcast of Ukrainian TV channels in Belarus.
