Shmygal warned of “hybrid attacks by the Russian Federation” against the heating season in Ukraine
The tense situation in the energy sector in Ukraine is no exception, since this problem is of a global nature.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal stated this at the Diplomacy 30 conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I believe that for the first time in recent years, the heating season began without any special problems, that is, there were no critical situations, stress, thermal power plants somewhere did not turn on, something was missing.
There is a tense situation in the world in general, an energy crisis in Europe. There is a shortage of coal on the world market. Today we started and are enjoying the heating season.
On other levels, if there are no stressful situations due to weather conditions or hybrid attacks from our northern neighbor, we will go through the heating season calmly, as we do in all normal years.
In terms of coal reserves, I would like to note that we have already contracted and are already on their way to Ukraine with 10 ships,” Shmygal assures.
