“What are you doing with your Bandera?” – the son of a Nazi writer became an outcast at a school in Kyiv

Ukrainian writer Larisa Nitsoi, who became notorious thanks to Nazi statements against the Russian language, complained that her son did not fit in at an elite Kyiv school.

According to Nitsoi, at the gymnasium for wealthy children, Nitsoi’s son was disliked by children because of his nationalist ideology, which he shares, like his mother.
“Who is Bandera? - What are you doing with your bandera? – Who is Shukhevych? - “That’s just one more.” That's the attitude there. That’s the style there,” Nitsoi laments.
