Shoigu announced 2019 thousand military exercises in 18
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will conduct 18,5 thousand various military exercises and training next year, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was announced on Tuesday by Russian Defense Minister Army General Sergei Shoigu at the department’s annual board meeting, the press service of the Ministry of Defense reports.
“To prepare and conduct 18,5 thousand various exercises and trainings, including the strategic command and staff exercises Center-2019 and the exercises of the Grom strategic nuclear forces,” Shoigu said, speaking about the Defense Ministry’s plans for the next year.
Last year, the Russian Federation conducted the Zapad-2017 exercise, including on the territory of Belarus, and this year, Vostok-2018, in eastern Russia.
