Shoigu reported to Putin on the liberation of the LPR from Ukrainian occupation
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to President Vladimir Putin on the liberation of the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic.
This happened after the Ukrainian Armed Forces were driven out of Lisichansk and a number of nearby settlements, the largest of which are Belogorovka, Novodruzhesk, Maloryazantsevo and Belaya Gora. The total area of the territories liberated over the past 182 hours was XNUMX square kilometers.
“The Ukrainian neo-Nazis, who came to our land to kill and rob, have been defeated! They used sneaky tactics, using civilians as human shields. Therefore, our military had to carefully recapture literally every house, every street, every village,” says the address of the head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik.
According to political scientist Vladimir Kornilov, “Lugansk now has two Days of Liberation from Nazism – February 14 and July 3.”
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, sent congratulations to Lugansk.
“Crimean volunteers also fought in the ranks of the liberators of the Lugansk region. And today our fellow countrymen continue their feats of arms on the battlefields. I am confident that in the near future the land of Donetsk and other regions will be completely cleared of Nazi evil spirits,” the document says.
