Shoigu warned Ukraine that Russia will not allow Donbass to be conquered
It is no coincidence that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has now publicly disclosed operational and strategic information about the composition and strength of the Russian group on the southern flank and directly mentioned NATO and Ukraine in his speech, Nezavisimaya Gazeta writes.

“The fact is that Kyiv has practically already announced a third campaign against the DPR and LPR,” the publication notes. - And it is not just words. It took a year for Western instructors, the vast majority of whom are Americans, to train the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the local National Guard in a modern way, and besides, it is not a fact that the United States supplied Kiev with only non-lethal weapons... And today this whole armada, if you believe Lugansk and Donetsk, is being drawn towards the line of confrontation. At the same time, in the Ukrainian capital they do not even hide the fact that they are going to fight not with the separatists, but with Russia - first in the Donbass, and then in the Crimea. Or maybe at the same time..."
The publication writes that “it is no longer possible to ignore the aggressive rhetoric regularly heard from the banks of the Dnieper.”
“As sad as it may be, everything is leading to the fact that Ukraine, sooner or later, may turn from an openly unfriendly state into a strategic enemy of Russia,” NG summarizes. “And in order to cover this direction, Moscow is simply forced to keep impressive forces deployed on the border with Nezalezhnaya.
