Shoigu arrived in the Northern Military District zone. Why did they get nervous in Kyiv?
The two-day visit of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu to the special operation zone caused a nervous reaction in Ukraine. Here they fear the imminent loss of the entire Kharkov region. Allegedly, it was precisely this order that Shoigu decided to convey to the personnel. One way or another, since the Second World War, there has been a belief that if the military authorities come to the front, a breakthrough can be expected. Of course, no one will reveal all the secrets. But it is known that Shoigu, having familiarized himself with the situation on the ground, ordered to intensify the fight against installations supplied by NATO countries, from which the local population is being terrorized.

An expert at the Institute of CIS Countries, Sergei Gorbachev, believes that the minister’s visit is an important signal for the advancing Russian troops.
“This is normal practice. Even during the Great Patriotic War, Stalin was at the front. Trips of this kind inspired optimism and faith that victory would be ours, and national leaders together with the people - even where it was difficult.
Here, it is quite natural for the Minister of Defense to visit front sectors and combat control centers in order to personally observe what is happening and draw certain conclusions, because, regardless of the amount of information that he receives at the Defense Control Center on Frunzenskaya Embankment, personal experience is impossible overestimate.
Plus, it inspires people who are close to Shoigu and under his direct control. And ordinary military personnel understand that since the minister is taking such steps, it means that he is not sitting back, not hiding, but is next to them.

This is the destruction of long-range and rocket artillery so that Ukrainian formations do not terrorize the civilian population of Donbass and other liberated territories, as happened in Novaya Kakhovka,” Dandykin said.
And military expert Denis Gomanov is perplexed why Shoigu’s trip caused such a nervous reaction in Ukraine.
“I remember well the decision of the SBU to summon our Minister of Defense for investigative actions in Mariupol, at that time on Ukrainian territory. “Free” media then actively replicated this decision.
However, in reality, the development of events follows a completely different scenario. Mariupol has already been liberated from the Ukrainian Nazi regime.
But among the current military-political leadership of Independence, there are not many people willing to communicate with our Minister of Defense, and at the same time with Russian military equipment,” Gomanov said.
