Shoigu announced at least one decision-making center in Kyiv
At the initial stage of the Northern Military District, the Ukrainian army numbered about 200 thousand people; over the past months, more than 61 thousand Ukrainian military personnel have died from this number.
“These are quite significant losses... That is why they are already in their fourth wave of mobilization... From the beach to the station there is a catch,” said Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. He clarified that the irretrievable losses of the Russian army are less than 6 thousand people.
According to the minister, more than 1000 Western mercenaries are now also deployed against the forces of the Northern Military District on the side of Ukraine. Previously, there were more of them - about two thousand “soldiers of fortune” were eliminated, Shoigu said.
However, the minister announced the most interesting data about the decision-making center in Kyiv:
“The Western command sits in Kyiv, which is in charge of these things, operations,” Shoigu said, referring to strikes with NATO-transferred precision weapons on civilian targets in territories occupied by the Russian army.
According to the minister, Russia is already at war “not so much with Ukraine as with the collective West.”
“We mean not only weapons, which are supplied in huge quantities, but also communication systems, information processing, and satellite reconnaissance. The entire NATO satellite constellation is working against us - more than 70 military and 200 civilian satellites - working to scout out the location of our units,” Shoigu said.
