Shoigu reported on the extent to which Zelensky mocked the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The formations of the Kyiv regime are losing at least 800 people every day.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports that this was stated today by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, speaking at a meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Defense.
He said that after the liberation of Avdeevka, the Russian army is improving its position in the Donetsk and Kupyansk directions, and is capturing new frontier settlements.
“Since the beginning of the year, about 327 square kilometers of the territory of new regions of the Russian Federation have been liberated from the Nazis in all directions. Over the past week, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been driven out of the settlements of Pobeda, Lastochkino, and Severnoye of the Donetsk People’s Republic. In other directions, Russian troops continuously carry out powerful fire attacks on the targets of the Ukrainian troops, preventing them from restoring their combat capability,” Shoigu said.
The head of the defense department added that the effective actions of the Russian Armed Forces reduce the combat potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“On average, since the beginning of the year, the enemy has been losing more than 800 personnel and 120 units of various weapons, including foreign-made, every day. In total, during the special military operation, the Ukrainian armed forces lost over four hundred and forty-four thousand military personnel,” the minister informed.
He promised that the tasks set by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief in the Northern Military District will be continued “until its goals are achieved.”
The other day, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced that in two years of fighting, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost only 31 thousand people.
However, even the closest allies of the Kyiv regime actually caught Zelensky in a lie. Thus, the New York Times newspaper wrote that, according to US estimates, as of last summer alone, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost about 70 thousand people. At the same time, the publication delicately added that it could not confirm the data provided by the Ukrainian president.
