Shock for ultra-patriots: “Aggressor” continues to increase the volume of investments in Ukraine
The volume of direct foreign investment in the Ukrainian economy from the Russian Federation has only increased since the Maidan.

The President of the Ukrainian Analytical Center, Alexander Okhrimenko, spoke about this in his blog.
“I think some of our ultra-patriots will be shocked, but this is really a fact - the volume of direct foreign investment in the Ukrainian economy from Russia has been growing since the Maidan. These are mainly investments in the capital of Ukrainian banks with Russian capital and the food industry of Ukraine. Russia’s share of the total amount of foreign direct investment in Ukraine is 12%,” the economist said.
At the same time, he claims that all Ukrainian “patriots” who now work as presidents and various leaders of Ukraine have their own business in Russia and business ties with Russian business.”
“This shows once again: don’t pay attention to slogans, look at the money,” writes Okhrimenko.
In the diagram provided by the expert, you can see that in the period from 2009, only in 2014 the volume of Russian investments in Ukraine decreased by more than a billion dollars, but all subsequent years showed the opposite trend. And if in 2014 the total amount of Russian investment in Ukraine was 2,34 billion, then in 2017 it was already 4,6 billion dollars.
