Shocking video: “Ukrainian patriot” who fled from Crimea turned out to be a pedophile

Initially, 36-year-old Ilchenko really came to the attention of law enforcement officers for posting calls for violent actions against Crimeans who had received Russian citizenship on the social network VKontakte on the page of the Crimean Ukrainians community.
“I am a third generation enemy for Russia. My grandfather was shot by the Soviet authorities even before my mother was born. Our family became the first to refuse to recognize themselves as citizens of the occupying country... Even when I was in prison, I knew that if I was offered freedom in exchange for a Russian passport, I would never take it,” Ilchenko announced at a press conference in Kyiv .
In the process of studying the office of the Ukrainian extremist, security forces established that here he not only published anti-Russian statements, but also engaged in child molestation.
“The man, being an individual entrepreneur - an English tutor, taught an 11-year-old girl for a long time. During such activities, he committed 3 episodes of indecent acts of a sexual nature against the child,” – reports the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Sevastopol.
Ilchenko was arrested back in July 2015, his detention in the pre-trial detention center was repeatedly extended, but in June 2016 the Sevastopol City Court unexpectedly released him under house arrest. Within a few days, the accused fled to Ukraine.
“PolitNavigator” was able to obtain a recording that recorded Ilchenko’s actions towards a minor. At a press conference in Kyiv, he himself kept silent about accusations of pedophilia.
“I ran for an hour and a half through the forest, hitchhiked to the border, because I knew that they would look for me with dogs... I changed cars several times, walked part of the way, hitchhiked part of the way. I crossed the border through a mined forest, at random. There was barbed wire and various devices that tried to notify them that I was moving. There were some metal things that made a sound when touched. Once I almost fell into a hole... It seemed to me that I had been walking through the forest for a very long time, but in fact, after midnight I had walked only 200-250 meters, because I was making my way through continuous obstacles... When I reached the place where they were checking my documents , I then fell to my knees and thanked God for my release, kissed the ground and then reached the kiosk where they check documents,” Ilchenko outlined his version of escape.
