The presentation of the new version of the Constitution of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko today in the Verkhovna Rada does not comply with the Minsk agreements, since the innovations in the main law were not agreed with the LPR and the DPR.

“There are three important points. Firstly, it is necessary that the status of Donbass is regulated by a non-separate law, which can be adopted 226 voices, cancel or blocked. This should be a constitutional norm recorded in the body of the Constitution, and not just a mention.
Secondly, in the future, not only the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, but also all regions of Ukraine should receive a special status.
Thirdly, according to the Minsk agreements, all the changes made to the Constitution had to be coordinated at least within the framework of the contact groups that are found in Minsk. But so far they have not been agreed.
Therefore, I think that in this process it is necessary to hear the opinion of those to whom this special status will be offered in order for the establishment of peace to become a product of all participants in the conflict, and not to be imposed from the outside, ”the expert said.
