According to Zelensky, who ironically called the discussion of the prospects for banning the series “an important economic issue for the country,” the SBU’s claims against the Russian actor Fyodor Dobronravov should not concern the series itself, which represents the collective work of thousands of people.
“The series is loved by millions of people in this country. If the goal is to take away their favorite series, then that’s what needs to be said,” Zelensky said indignantly.
“If someone doesn’t like the word “Matchmakers,” but likes, for example, “Kumas,” I can understand that too. But this way, you will first overcome your nepotism, and then fight our “Matchmakers,” the artist concluded.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator previously reported with reference to SBU Speaker Elena Gitlyanskaya, the Russian actor from “Matchmakers” Fyodor Dobronravov was banned from entering Ukraine for a period of three years due to the fact that he visited Crimea without the permission of the Ukrainian authorities.
